​We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to drive innovation and optimize our automated retail systems and robotic products. As a Data Scientist at SARR, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive improvements in our automated retail systems and robotic products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations. 

  • Develop and maintain data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.

  • ​Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments in data science and machine learning.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models and algorithms to optimize performance and enhance the user experience.

  • Design and implement data collection processes, ensuring data quality and integrity. 

  • Continuously explore and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve our data analytics capabilities.

Who You are

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Design and implement data collection processes, ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages used in data analysis.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.

  • Knowledge of various data storage and processing technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and Spark.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree or higher preferred).

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
