We are currently seeking an innovative and highly skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI) Researcher to join our team in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in exploring and developing advanced AI techniques and algorithms to enhance our automated retail systems and robotic products. As an AI Researcher at SARR, you will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of technology and help shape the future of the industry.





What You’ll Do

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in AI, machine learning, and robotics to advance the state-of-the-art in our industry.

  • Develop novel algorithms and techniques to enhance the performance, efficiency, and capabilities of our automated retail systems and robotic products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and product management, to integrate research findings into our products and services.

  • Present research findings at conferences, publish in leading academic journals and contribute to the broader AI research community.

  • Monitor and analyze trends in AI research, identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and methodologies that can benefit our products and processes.

  • Mentor and support junior researchers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.

  • Collaborate with external research institutions and partners to drive innovation and knowledge-sharing.

Who You are

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral research experience in AI, machine learning, or robotics.

  • Proven track record of publications in top-tier AI research conferences and journals.

  • Expertise in one or more AI research areas, such as reinforcement learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or planning and control.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages.

  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Strong collaboration and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and guiding research teams.

  • Experience with parallel and distributed computing, such as GPU programming and cloud-based technologies.
